Licenses
All Artis Driving ® instructors are state certified.
In order to become state certified driving instructors require the following
documents for state certification:
- Completion of the 32-hour Commercial Drivers Education Course
- An original FDLE report issued within the last 12 months.
- No suspensions, revocations, cancellations or disqualifications on
your driving record 3 years prior to the date of application.
- A notarized statement from the school owner stating that the applicant
will be an instructor for the school.
- A completed commercial driving school instructor application.
- Pay the required fee.
- Signed contractual agreement with the state.
In addition to these state requirements Artis Driving ® instructors undergo extensive training and screening prior to teaching students. Instructors are expected to display the highest levels of professionalism of any driving instructors in the marketplace.
