What type of cars does Artis Driving use?
Late model Volkswagen Beetles, with dual control brakes, ABS brakes, and Airbags.

What kind of insurance coverage do you have?
Artis Driving has insurance for the vehicles and student driver. Student is not liable when taking lesson in Artis Driving vehicle.

When are you available for lessons?
Lessons begin at 8:00am thru 8:00pm daily (7 days a week). Every 2 hours.

What is your cancellation policy?
Lessons must be cancelled 24 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting the lesson.

Do you have Spanish speaking instructors?
Yes
What are your instructor’s qualifications?
All instructors are Florida state certified.

Do you teach highway driving?
Yes. Artis Driving behind the wheel packages includes training on the highway.

Do you teach stick shift manual transmission?
Yes in VW Beetle. Students must be experienced drivers.

Can I use your vehicle for the road test?
Only Artis Driving students can use vehicles for the road test. To be a student you must take at least one driving lesson.

Can we start the lesson at one location and end somewhere else (Home, Office, or School)?
Yes. However, we prefer first lesson to begin and end at same location.

How do I pay for the lessons?
With a credit card to guarantee lesson time slots. Payment must be made in full to obtain package pricing and book multiple lessons.

I would prefer my daughter to be taught by a female instructor? Do you have female instructors?
65% of all of our students are female. Our instructors undergo extensive training and screening prior to teaching students. Instructors are expected to display the highest levels of professionalism of any driving instructors in the marketplace.

How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since the beginning of 2003. Collectively our instructors have significant experience in training, education, fleet management, management and social work. We also benefit from our collaboration with major organizations in the field of driver safety such as the NSC (National Safety Council) and the AAA (American Automobile Association).
